Christmas Eve Climb at LIttle Rock City

I went rock climbing with some friends on Christmas Eve and although the rain cut the trip short, it was a ton of fun. My great friend, Whit Altizer took this shot.

I was inspired to climb here after doing some photography for the Triple Crown Bouldering Series. This made it nice, as there were some chalk marks left to mark the routes. All I can say, is I'm glad I was simply photographing the competition, instead of being in the competition. Bouldering looks so easy to a spectator, as the rocks usually aren't that large and there are only a few key moves to make. However, as a participant starting on the ground, its overwhelming. The climb is inverted, and there is minimal room for any error.

I hope everyone has recovered from the holidays.
